The Ho Chi Minh Logistics Association, commonly referred to as HLA, stands as a voluntary social and professional organization that serves as a hub for businesses, universities, colleges, and educational and training establishments within the logistics ecosystem (including delivery, transportation, consulting, warehousing, port exploration, etc.) of Ho Chi Minh City. Established by the decision of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City through Decision No. 2474/QD-UBND dated July 8, 2021, HLA plays a vital role in fostering collaboration and advancement within the city’s logistics industry.
The Executive Board of HLA envisions developing the association into a professional and esteemed entity representing the city's logistics industry. To achieve this vision, HLA has set forth several key objectives:
Facilitating connections among member organizations, businesses, and training establishments within Ho Chi Minh City's logistics sector to foster knowledge sharing, mutual support, and collaborative efforts toward industry development and the city's mission, thereby contributing significantly to national development;
Disseminating and fostering awareness of legal regulations among members, guiding and encouraging compliance with governmental laws, policies, and HLA regulations;
Establishing and operating specialized departments with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness;
Advocating for members by participating in policy discussions and making recommendations to competent authorities on matters related to logistics;
Promoting domestic and international cooperation activities among members and the broader logistics community in Ho Chi Minh City.
From 2021 to 2026, HLA's strategic focus includes encouraging the adoption of information technology and fostering a robust logistics ecosystem centered around the utilization of member data, all aimed at achieving sustainable development for the community at large.
